About You

Who I Work With

Chances are, you’re not coming to counselling because of any particular group you belong to. I am committed to treating you as an individual, and as such we’ll work together to understand what you need for your therapy experience.

That said, I am well aware that it can be important to know that you will be met with respect, support and non-judgement, no matter who you are. I have worked with clients who are from the LGBTQIA+ community, like me. My own experiences have shown me the importance of having a warm and supportive ear when opening up about experiences of discrimination, fear or shame which are projected onto minority communities. I am committed to working in an inclusive, anti-racist, non-violent, queer-affirming manner.

Working with where you are, now

In terms of where you are at the moment: you don’t need to be in crisis. If you are, that’s okay. You might be barely holding things together, or reaching your limit. If you are longing for more contact, more clarity, or space where you can be met as you are, I hope to support that.

My areas of interest & experience include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low Mood
  • Anger Issues
  • Relationships

  • Loneliness
